Homage to Anne-Catherine Fortas

The René Cassin Foundation has learned with emotion of the death of Ms. Anne-Catherine Fortas, winner of the 2014 René Cassin Thesis Prize.

In consultation with his colleagues and with the agreement and support of Editions Pedone, his thesis on “Monitoring the execution of judgments and decisions of the European and Inter-American Courts of Human Rights” will be published on the website of our Foundation. A tribute will be paid to Ms. Anne-Catherine Fortas during our next session on international human rights law, from November 15 to 20, 2021, which will be dedicated to her.
