  2. Preamble

    These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “GTCS”) constitute the sole basis for the
    commercial relationship between the parties.
    They set out the conditions under which the Foundation provides its Services to its clients
    professionals who request it directly or on paper.
    They apply to all Services provided by the Foundation for all clients of the same
    category, regardless of any clauses that may appear on a client document, including its
    general terms and conditions of purchase.
    They are systematically communicated to the client who makes the request.

  3. Definitions

    Customer means any person who places an order by direct contact or on paper;
    Order means any order placed by the Client with a view to benefiting from the services of the

    General Terms and Conditions of Sale or GTCs mean this document;
    Consumer means the buyer who is a natural person acting outside his professional activity;
    Professional means the buyer who is a natural or legal person acting in the course of his business
    professional ;
    Services means all services offered by the Foundation; and
    Foundation refers to the René Cassin Foundation – International Institute of Human Rights, more
    as described in article I of these general terms and conditions of sale.

  4. Orders

    Orders are placed by the Client through direct contact, on our website or by email.

  5. Service provision and prices

    The prices are those in force on the day the Order is placed, as established on the website
    internet.
    The Foundation may grant the Customer price reductions, discounts and rebates depending on the
    number of Services ordered or according to the regularity of the Orders, according to the conditions
    set by it.

  6. Payment terms and conditions

    The price is payable in full on the day of the order.
    Payment can be made by: credit card, Paypal platform and with prior agreement of the
    Foundation by bank transfer. In the latter case, the bank charges are to be paid in full
    of the customer.

  7. Performance of the services

    The Service ordered will be provided by :

    The Foundation undertakes to respect to the best of its ability the deadlines announced at the time of placing the Order.
    However, it can in no way be held responsible for delays in the completion of
    benefits caused by faults that are not attributable to it.
    The Foundation cannot be held liable for delays caused by reasons of
    force majeure, i.e. due to the occurrence of an unforeseeable, irresistible and
    beyond the Foundation’s control.

  8. Claim

    For all orders placed, the Customer has a right of complaint of 30 days from
    from the date of completion of the training to the provision of the Service.
    To exercise this right of complaint, the Customer must send the Foundation the following address

    together with the relevant supporting documents.
    A claim that does not comply with the conditions described above cannot be accepted.

  9. Right of withdrawal and cancellation conditions of the
    Consumer


    The Consumer has a right of withdrawal of 15 working days after the order, except
    for the products mentioned in Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code.
    To exercise this right of withdrawal, the Consumer shall send a declaration to the address
    : administration@iidh.org.
    The full fee paid for the service will be refunded within 14 days of the
    acknowledgement by the Foundation of its declaration of withdrawal. The reimbursement will be made by
    the same means of payment as the one used for the purchase.
    However, if the provision of services has already begun at the date of taking cognisance of the

  10. Legal guarantees

  11. Processing of personal data

    The purchase by the Customer may involve the processing of his/her personal data. If the Client
    refuses the processing of his/her data, he/she is asked to refrain from using the services of the
    Foundation.
    This processing of personal data is done in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

    In accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 “on the protection of personal data
