Formation en Droit international Pénal – The future of international criminal justice
As the year draws to a close, the René Cassin Foundation is offering a course dedicated to the future of international criminal justice in French. The course, entirely distance learning via Zoom software, will involve internationally recognized experts from universities and institutions (United Nations, International Criminal Court, etc.).
This training session offers a range of topical themes, including: The Ukrainian Conflict: the role of the In Abstentia trial, the effectiveness of defense rights before international criminal courts, gender-based violence in international criminal law, multiple convictions in international criminal law and whistle-blowers: disclosing evidence of crimes against humanity in armed conflicts.

WHEN AND HOW?
The International Criminal Law course will take place from December 2 to 6, 2024 . The experts’ presentations will take place from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Tuesday, with one hour dedicated to a question and answer session. The course will take place at a distance only, so it is recommended that you have suitable computer equipment and a good Internet connection. An online assessment in the form of a MCQ will also be offered on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. It is compulsory for those registered via their skills operator (OPCO) or those wishing to obtain a certificate of achievement.
